Over the years, I have learned that I can’t do everything. I know that I can either be mentally present for my child’s birthday party, that special and intimate dinner party, the large event I’ve spent too many late nights organizing, or I can spend that time behind my camera and end up missing out on the “moment.” I’m now a firm believer that it’s okay to let a professional capture my special event, so I can sit back, relax, and enjoy my friends and family. I love capturing the little details that make an event so special, but often get forgotten afterward if they’re not photographically preserved.
