Kate and Cavell were married in Gold Country, where the 1849 California Gold Rush brought men and women searching for fortunes. The ceremony was heartfelt with a beautiful oboe solo as the Bride walked down the aisle to her smiling Groom. Family and friends travelled from all over the country to witness this big day and many shed tears of happiness while Kate and Cavell’s joy was evident by their constant smiling faces. Kate’s mother made her daughter’s wedding dress and so many others gave their time to create the perfect day for such a special couple.
